New addition to the family

Filly Flora is the newest addition to our sporthorses. She was born in March 2021 and comes from the Belgian breeders Laurentii who specifically breed coloured showjumpers. Flora's sire Pegase van 't Ruytershof is by legendary 1.60m showjumper Comme Il Faut who combines the world’s very best jumping horse bloodlines in one horse. The stallion is the son of two legendary jumping horses that need no further introduction: Cornet Obolensky and double Olympic champion Ratina Z.

Flora has an excellent pedigree with several sporthorses in her dam line who performed at 1.40m level. Her granddam Judy was bred in Ireland and successfully competed at 1.40m level. Out of Judy came Elixir vd Dwerse Hagen (1.40m) and Flora's dam Bonte Laura vd Dwerse Hagen (1.40m).

Flora herself is bright, happy and friendly. She will stay with her mother in Belgium until she is weaned in October and ready to make the journey to her new home with us in France. Until then it will tide us over to look at the wonderful pictures her breeders have been sending us!
